Baroness Hale has indicated that the talk will focus on an area of family law and as such will no doubt be of great interest to anyone studing this subject as an optional course.
A former President of the Family Division of the Court of Appeal, Baroness Hale is now the first peer to sit as a member of the Appellate Committee of the House of Lords.
We are very grateful to her for her for giving us her time, and similarly to her Secretaries, Ms Georgina Iscaac and Ms Susan Derry, for helping organise the visit.

Baroness Hale's talk at Christ Church is being kindly funded by Shearman & Sterling and forms part of their Guest Speaker Series 2006.
