The Finalists' Garden Party, a recent tradition at Christ Church was held this year at the College's Cricket Pavilion on Tuesday of 8th Week Trinity (16th June) 2009 and was generously sponsored by Freshfields.

A light buffet and barbecue was followed by strawberries and cream and provided a chance for all law students at Christ Church to relax at the end of term and say farewell to the finalists.

This year, Freshfields kindly sent a Christ Church alumnus to chat with students. Many undergraduates took the opportunity to discuss the upcoming application process for training contracts as well as more general issues presented by practicing law in the City and life at Freshfields.

Thanks go to everyone who came for making it a great afternoon. Special thanks go to Freshfields for their support and Melissa and Tom for helping the then Secretary, Briony Cockerham, out with the preparation for the event.

Next year's Garden Party will be organised by the current Secretary, Amber Schild. Details will be announced closer to the time.
