The Mansfield Society was privileged to welcome Lord Scott of Foscote to Christ Church in Michaelmas Term. 

Lord Scott gave an enlightening talk on the role of the Court of Final Appeal in Hong Kong, providing an increased appreciation of how decisions in other jurisdictions influence English law.  Furthermore, members of the Mansfield Society very much appreciated the opportunity to speak with His Lordship over dinner.
