Sir Ken Macdonald QC was very warmly received when he visited in November to speak on the role and development of the Crown Prosecution Service. 

The former Director of Public Prosecutions provided an insight into the work of the CPS in addition to raising thought-provoking issues regarding the problems of proposed future terrorism legislation.  Members of the Mansfield Society who attended the event valued the opportunity to speak with Sir Ken Macdonald more at length over dinner.
