The Mansfield Society's black tie Annual Dinner is to be held on Thursday of 2nd Week Trinity Term (3rd May) in the McKenna Room at Christ Church. The dinner will be preceded by a champagne reception in the Ante-Hall.
We are pleased to announce that the Guest of Honour at this year's Dinner will be General David John, the Lord Ramsbotham of Kensington & Chelsea GCB CBE, formerly Her Majesty's Chief Inspector of Prisons and now a cross-bench Peer in the House of Lords.
Lord Ramsbotham will talk on the subject of the social and financial costs of imprisonment in an address entitled "What Price Imprisonment?".
